New Blog Coming Soon
You might have noticed that I have not blogged anything for a while. Two reasons for this are:
1. I've been shooting at least one wedding per week as well as teaching at the Art Institute of San Bernardino and doing various non-wedding projects. In other words, I'm busy as heck.
2. The blog is currently being re-vamped and I'd rather not spend time on this "old" one since the new one is about to be unveiled. Should be up and running next week.
Stay tuned!!!

Alta Loma Wedding
Big Air over Santa Monica
I was recently invited to hang out in the VIP lounge at the Red Bull Experiment on the Santa Monica Pier. Knowing that being tired at the end of a long day wouldn't be an issue with all that Red Bull around, I set out for the beach. Red Bull Experiments are "made for TV" stunts involving action sports. I've been around action sports for most of my life and to be honest, I wasn't really excited about watching another MX jump, but after seeing Ronnie Renner blast the quarter pipe a few times, I gotta admit, I was glad to be there. It was SICK!!!!
Ronnie Renner sets the new world record for highest air on a motorcycle: 59 feet, 2 inches. I wasn't with him, but I'm sure he drank a few gallons of Red Bull right before this jump.

Photos with Sole
I'm working on Jessica and Kurt's engagement album and I was smiling at a couple photos they chose, so I thought I'd show them to you. Jessica had just bought a fresh pair of Vans, so I decided to focus in on them (get it?) for a couple photos. Ok, so these aren't the ones grandma will mount on her wall, but they have lots of photos to choose from so all is well. As long as grandma doesn't tell me to shoo. Ok, that was horrible, not even qualifying as a bad joke.
Here is a sample guestbook page. The area on the right (the faded piggyback photo) is where guests will write notes to Jessica and Kurt at the reception. Sweet.

MTV Casting Call
A representative from MTV contacted me the other day and told me they're looking for a couple getting married on an island or any other "Destination Wedding" location. Here's what they are looking for:
- Destination Wedding.
- Unique love story.
- Between the ages of 18-28.
- Getting married in July or August of this year.
If you fit these requirements and want everyone in the world to forever remember your wedding day, e-mail them and tell them about yourself and your wedding plans. Make sure to tell them I sent you. Maybe they'll give me a free music video or something. The deadline is June 30th, so hurrry!!!!

Corona Wedding: Tony and Kelly Savocchio
Kelly getting ready.
Kelly's mom and sisters help with the dress.
Riding to the ceremony.
Tony and Kelly were married at the Trilogy Golf Club in Corona. Trilogy is a private community, they do not have a wedding coordinator nor do they offer weddings. If they did they would be swamped because the location is amazing. The outdoor amphitheater/ceremony site is surrounded by majestic mountains and a golf course (some guys would say the golf course is majestic, but that's another matter). The amphitheater and reception hall must be reserved by a Trilogy resident. Kelly and Tony have good friends who are residents and were able to reserve the day.
Kelly and her bridal party got ready at a home in the community, only a ten minute golf cart ride to the ceremony site. Friends and family helped decorate the reception hall into a scene out of Venice, complete with pillars and huge photos of gondolas and other Venice images. It was a great time, please take a look at the following blog entries for more photos from their wedding.
